A worker and community owned retail grocery store and nutrition education center located in West Oakland .  The Cooperative was developed through multi-stakeholder and collaborative process that included participation from community members, organizations, political representatives and small business with resource and technical assistance support from Tides Center/Environmental Justice Institute through a USDA Community Food Projects grant.
